JimV LLC operates jimv.io and sells JimV Box. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
Scope
This policy covers jimv.io, the JimV Box store at shop.jimv.io, and the templates and licensing store at store.jimv.io. The JimV Box store runs on a hosted e-commerce platform, and its provider processes order data on our behalf. The templates and licensing store is operated by us.

What we collect
This site loads no analytics and runs no advertising. Most of it sets no cookies at all: the home page, the specifications page and these legal pages load no third-party scripts.
The store, enterprise, support and FAQ pages load a live chat widget supplied by our live chat provider. On those four pages that provider sets cookies and records which pages you view while the widget is loaded, so that a conversation can be picked up where it left off.
If you start a chat, we receive the messages you send and any name or email address you choose to give us in it. The transcript is stored by our live chat provider on our behalf.
Our CDN and security provider records standard server logs when you visit: IP address, browser user agent, requested address and timestamp. These are used to serve the site and to defend it against abuse.
If you submit the enterprise enquiry form, we receive the fields you fill in — your name, email address, phone number if you give one, company, deployment size and message — together with a bot-check token. The submission is emailed to [email protected] and recorded in our own customer records at store.jimv.io, where the person handling it keeps notes on the enquiry.
If you place an order, the store collects your name, shipping address, email address and order contents. Payment is handled by payment processors: we never receive or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To fulfil and ship orders, to answer your enquiries, to keep the site and the store secure, and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising targeting, and we run no advertising on this site.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the categories of service provider needed to run the business: our e-commerce and checkout provider, payment processors, our CDN and security provider, our live chat provider, shipping carriers, and our email provider. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, safety or property.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax, accounting and warranty obligations require. Enquiry emails, and the matching record in our own customer records, are kept as long as needed to answer the enquiry and to maintain the customer relationship. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Chat transcripts are kept as long as needed to answer the enquiry and to maintain the customer relationship.
Do Not Track
We do not track you across other companies' websites, we do not sell personal information, and we run no advertising here. The live chat widget on the store, enterprise, support and FAQ pages does set its own cookies and may recognise you as a returning visitor to this site, so that a conversation can be continued.
We do not change that behaviour in response to a Do Not Track signal. If you would rather not load the widget at all, the home page, the specifications page and these legal pages do not carry it, and you can reach us by email at [email protected] instead.
Reviewing and correcting your information
To review, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, write to [email protected]. Order details can also be managed from your account on the store.
We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we may retain records that we are legally required to keep.
Children
JimV Box is sold to businesses and technical users. This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and publish the revised version here.
